Find a free tile
A tile is free when nothing lies on top of it and its left or right side is open.
Tap two that match
Pick two free tiles with the same picture and they fly away together. Any flower matches any flower, and any season any season.
Clear the table
Keep going until the last pair is gone. Match quickly to build a combo of up to ×4. Stars reward a good time and clean play — but there's never a countdown.

Every deal can be solved

We deal it backwards

1B Mahjong doesn't scatter the tiles at random and hope. It starts from the empty table and lays down matching pairs on spots that are free at that moment — so the order it used is a proven way to clear the board.

You can still paint yourself into a corner. When that happens, a shuffle is always on offer: the first one each level is free.
